Engaging Stories

In a competitive industry, authenticity and storytelling can set a brand apart. To showcase the unique vision and culture of Pickard Chilton, I spearheaded the ideation, production, and editing of a series of social media videos that highlighted the studio’s people, values, and design philosophy.

brief & idea

Architecture is a crowded field, and standing out among leading studios requires more than showcasing projects—it demands storytelling that resonates. Pickard Chilton sought to elevate its social media presence by creating a series of videos that would humanize the firm, address topics like equity, diversity, and inclusion (EDI), and emphasize its thoughtful approach to workplace design, community engagement, and sustainability.

To craft a compelling series of videos that would differentiate Pickard Chilton from competitors by sharing authentic, engaging, and insightful stories about its people, culture, and design philosophy.

results

To meet this challenge, I managed every stage of the project, beginning with identifying themes such as EDI, workplace design, sustainability, and the role of architecture in community building. Collaborating closely with our team, I led ideation, storyboarding, and scripting efforts to ensure each video aligned with Pickard Chilton’s values. I coordinated interviews, on-site footage, and dynamic visuals to create a library of authentic, visually engaging content optimized for social media. During post-production, I carefully edited the material to weave cohesive narratives that humanized the studio and its work.

The results exceeded expectations. The videos achieved record-breaking engagement rates on Pickard Chilton’s social media platforms, with significant increases in likes, comments, and shares. Insights revealed a high volume of “saves,” demonstrating the content’s resonance with audiences. Clients and collaborators frequently praised the videos, highlighting them as a unique and memorable feature among architecture firms. By positioning Pickard Chilton as a studio dedicated to designing not just buildings, but meaningful spaces for communities, this series significantly strengthened the firm’s brand identity and reputation.
